official statement form Fox...
We love Mr. Nortons work, and we dont know where the rumor got started, but he is not slated to star on 24.
Now if there is a spinoff to be had I would totally be for having edward norton as that man. Ed norton is one of my favorite actors EVER. Aside from Robert Duvall, I say his the MAN.
But since this is the spoilers.... let me very cryptic and obvious all at once..
This season NO ONE is safe.... there is a season 6, but will it be based in LA?

there is no 24, without kiefer. he has to star in it though seeing as how he signed a 3 year contract. what i wanna know is how is anyone going to know Jack is in China.
